Confined Space Entry Kits
Tripod confined space entry kits provide simple ordering with all the necessary components for a complete safety system. Kits are ideal for applications in tanks, manholes and other vertical entry work practices.
Gravity® Temporary Horizontal Lifelines
MSA’s newly enhanced Gravity Temporary Horizontal Lifelines offer unique, exclusive bypass shuttles enabling two workers to share a line and pass each other while maintaining 100% tie-off. The Gravity Temporary Synthetic Horizontal Lifeline, designed for easy installation and removal, suits many applications. System mounts to any suitable 5,000-lb-rated anchorage point and uses many standard components. Integral line tensioner helps to ensure proper lifeline tensioning.
Latchways® Vertical Ladder Lifeline Kits
Latchways Vertical Ladder Lifeline Kits allow for hands-free movement up and down the entire height of the fixed ladder, eliminating the need to disconnect and find new tie-off points while ascending or descending the ladder. These vertical ladder lifeline kits come in multiple lengths for different ladder heights and must be used in conjunction with the Latchways LadderLatch™ climbing device (sold separately).
Latchways® Vertical Lifeline Systems
MSA's range of Latchways® Engineered Vertical Lifeline Systems for ladders provide outstanding personal safety for individuals working on any type of fixed tower ladder, industrial ladder. Applications include cranes and silos. MSA's Latchways Engineered Vertical Lifeline Systems for towers, have the inherent flexibility to be configured for use on virtually any design of power transmission tower.
The new MSA Workman Winch is rugged, versatile and economical for lifting, lowering and positioning personnel and materials within confined space applications. Designed for maximum 400-lb (182 kg) workload for personnel and 620-lb (282 kg) for materials, the Workman Winch is built with tough thermoplastic housing to ensure high performance within the harshest environments. Winch offers integral, ergonomic carrying grip and unique, foldable handle for simple storage. Patent-pending bracket design allows for easy, rapid assembly.
V-EDGE™ Leading Edge Self - Retracting Lifeline
Specifically engineered and tested for foot-level tie off, the V-EDGE™ Self Retracting Lifeline offers a dependable means for leading edge fall protection. The V-EDGE SRL can be used in a variety of applications, from over head to horizontal tie off points, and where sharp edges are a concern.
V-FORM™ Full Body Harness
With lightweight and durable components, MSA V-FORM™ range of safety harnesses provide full comfort to the users. These full body harnesses come in the catchy color combination of MSA Green and Gray.
V-TEC™ Self-Retracting Lifeline
With premium stainless steel components and innovative engineering, the V-TEC Self Retracting Lifeline incorporates a precision-made spring radial energy absorber that requires zero calibration or adjustment. The retraction dampening feature controls cable retraction speeds preventing pre-mature and accidental load indicator deployment.
Latchways Personal Rescue Device®
The MSA Latchways® PRD is a lightweight, unobtrusive personal rescue device that is an integrated full body harness system for self-rescue. In the event of a fall the device lowers the person gently to the ground in a controlled descent.
Latchways Sealed Self-Retracting Lanyards
The Latchways Sealed Self-Retracting Lifeline range offers a dependable means of fall protection and has been specifically designed for use in harsh environments such as oil rigs, wind turbines and other offshore applications.
V-TEC™ Personal Fall Limiter
The V-TEC Mini retactable lanyard is the most compact & lightweight self-retracting lanyard ever developed using multiple spring radial energy-absorbing technology. This new design eliminates the need for an external energy-absorber outside of the housing making it the smallest retractable lanyard on the market.
The Anthron Descender is a manually operated, controlled descent device most commonly used for suspended work positioning, self-evacuation, or rescue operations. A cam assembly provides friction on the rope to hold a load or allow the load to descend at a controlled rate. The system consists of a 7/16" (11mm) rope, the Anthron Descender, and two carabiners. Proper roping and rigging diagrams are on the side of the device, which can be installed or removed at any point on the rope and has a working load of 300 pounds (136 kg).
The Beam Trolley is a moveable anchorage connector designed to support either personnel or material. Trolley consists of a carriage with four wheels containing anti-friction bearings that are connected to aluminum housings and to a steel cross bar. Cross bar provides an anchorage point for attaching fall protection equipment. Trolley can be positioned anywhere along an overhead beam to provide mobility in a horizontal direction, and fits the support beam as specified by the user.
Cab Mounting Bracket
Keep the retractable lanyard out of the worker's way by installing the Cab Mounting Bracket on top of the lift cage. The SRL lies flat on the bracket and the lifeline extends out over a pulley at the end of the bracket, down through the cage, and attaches to the worker's back D-Ring on the harness.
Intended to be used in a basket configuration only, the Cable Sling is approved for use by one person at a time with approved systems. Two strands of cable sling must be of equal length to ensure an even distribution of a load.
Diamond® Energy-Absorbing Lanyard
Raising the standard for shock-absorbing lanyards, the FP Diamond Energy Absorbing Lanyard's light weight and streamlined design contains a strong and durable polyester sheath that's abrasion and UV-resistant. FP Diamond Energy Absorbing Lanyards connect the back (dorsal) D-ring of MSA full-body harnesses to a qualified anchorage and anchorage connector. The energy absorber keeps fall arrest forces below ANSI and OSHA limits and deceleration distance is controlled to a maximum of 42 inches.
Dyna-Glide® Rigid Rail System
The Dyna-Glide® Rigid Rail Fall Protection System is used to arrest falls from heights where workers may be climbing up ladders, towers, or almost any structure. This rigid rail system enhances the way a climber is able to perform the necessary work. MSA rigid rail systems can be mounted to already-installed ladders, to corners of lattice towers, and to other suitably strong structures your crew needs to climb. Furthermore, using different MSA mounting assemblies, the Dyna-Glide rigid rail system can be attached to almost any structure that it's permissible to climb. MSA Rigid rail systems can be constructed to continuously protect climbers – whether they're traveling vertically, horizontally, or around curves, corners, or obstacles. For added performance, the MSA Dyna-Glide rigid rail system can be used by more than one person at a time.
When personnel need to self-rescue or evacuate from an elevated area, the Automatic Dynescape Defender is fast enough to allow for safe evacuation, but slow enough not to cause injury upon landing. The rate of descent is constant at approximately 6 feet per second.
